What does Go Light do?

Go Light provides practical, positive solutions that help individuals, organisations and communities lower their carbon footprints.  We focus on projects that help build connection and resilience and which enable people to better able to cope with the effects of peak oil, climate change and economic instability.

We work towards:

*Developing people's practical skills in key areas such as cooking, growing and appropriate technology.

*Education and awareness around climate change, peak oil and energy and resource use.

*Big picture thinking around individual and community resilience.

*Setting up lasting projects of benefit to the community

How do we work?

We run our own projects and training courses.  We also work in partnership with other organisations with similar agendas.   

Who have we worked with?

We have worked with Sprout Design as Permaculture consultants on a new product design.  We are working with Global Action Plan as part of their Eco Team.  We are helping Homegrown establish a smallholding near Gatwick.  We're working with Pegasaurus Publishing on a book about 'greening' your life.  Beth will be working with Dine! the first social enterprise in Brighton to work with homeless people.
