What does Go Light do?

Go Light provides practical, positive solutions that help individuals, organisations and communities to live a low impact life.  We focus on projects that help build connection and resilience and which enable people to better able to cope with the effects of climate change, peak oil and economic instability.

Education

We run courses which develop people's practical skills in key areas such as cooking, growing, traditional crafts and appropriate technology.  We do education and awareness around climate change, peak oil and energy and resource use.

Events 

We're developing a programme of events around the theme of low impact living.  The first of them will probably focus on heritage crafts. Watch this space...

Consultancy

We offer advice and consultancy on many subjects around the theme of low impact living.  In the past these have included:

  • Permaculture
  • Self-sufficiency
  • Natural Bee keeping

Who have we worked with?

We have worked with Sprout Design as Permaculture consultants on a new product design.  We are working with Global Action Plan as part of their Eco Team.  We are helping Staplefield Organics to establish a market garden near Gatwick.  We're working with Pegasaurus Publishing on a book about 'greening' your life. Beth will also be working with Dine! the first social enterprise in Brighton to work with homeless people.
